PMPCL does not build AI models. We do not control the algorithms that will run on our infrastructure. But we have a responsibility to ensure that the physical systems we build enable AI that serves humanity.
Our commitments:
Tanzanian data and Tanzanian intelligence remain under Tanzanian control. No back doors. No unauthorized access. No extraction of value without consent.
Our data centres are built to withstand physical and cyber threats. AI systems running on our infrastructure are protected from adversarial capture.
We collaborate with AI safety researchers, philosophers, and policymakers to understand the implications of the systems our infrastructure enables.
The intelligence running on our infrastructure should benefit Tanzanian people—not just foreign corporations or extractive interests.
We will be transparent about who is using our infrastructure and for what purposes, subject to commercial confidentiality.
